Reader provides complete analytical features to understand
and view the complex data relationships underlining the
answer-set compiled in the QO Holograms: |

| Easy
to use – Fast access |
QO Reader makes
it very easy to analyze QO Holograms: users can navigate
the hologram through an intuitive user interface based
on tree-structures showing the logical and hierarchical
relationships among the dimensions and metrics included
into the hologram.
It provides users with a highly interactive environment
for analyzing QO Holograms and building dynamic reports
(QO Analysis): with Windows-like drag-and-drop operations
and common web site paradigms, they immediately obtain
queries and analysis without any training.
Thanks to the underlining QO technology, users can get
the fastest possible answers to any possible query come
into their mind. |

The Reader module
introduces a new approach to data analysis: the Top-Down
Analysis, based on the hierarchical navigation
of information.
Starting from the set of dimensions and metrics included
into the hologram that is going to be analyzed, users
can gradually filter out data, selecting at each
level of the drilling down process the dimensions and
metric they are interested in: for example, if the user
has selected the dimension “Product” and the
measure “sales volume” but is interested to
the version X of the product and want to know how many
sales have taken place using the direct distribution channel,
he can select only the values of the category corresponding
to the X version and re-launch the query; then he can
include into the analysis the dimension “distribution
channel” and select only the category “Direct”:
by re-launching again the query he will visualize only
the sales of version X on direct channel.
This feature enables the users to progress from locating
business issues to identifying root causes and get a powerful
insight into business events directly related with the
user decision process. The hierarchical path chosen by
users to navigate data will reflect their personal information
needs. |
| Embedded
Keyback function |
QO Holograms
to be analyzed with the Reader can include KeyBack values:
these are a selection of atomic source data that can be
loaded into the system in a specialized file format and
are used to enable a drill-trough of the QO Hologram that
goes back to the original source data without the need
to re-connect to the source systems and re-query them.
QO Reader provides the most effective way to manage these
unique functionality offered by the QueryObject technology.
It enables to display the record-level detail from the
source data associated with a value showed by the QO Hologram
just right-clicking on it: a windows will instantly show
within a table the list of relevant source data (for instance,
in a marketing analysis, name, surname and address of
a group of customers), that users can print or save as
actionable knowledge (in the example, they can be used
for one-to-one marketing initiatives). |
