| QueryObject EXCEL ANALYZER
(QOX) is a light Excel Add-In that enables anyone to create ODBC-based Pivot Tables or QueryTables for exploring and analyzing QueryObjects (QOs).
It exploits the QO ODBC Driver for connecting to QueryObjects as ODBC Data Sources.
Although this driver also allows for accessing QOs through common Excel functions (i.e. from the Data menu),
QO Excel Analyzer provides userforms and functions which are easier to use and more tailored to exploit QueryObject characteristics.

exploit the full power of Excel Pivot Tables
to view and analyze QOs, including 2D and 3D Pivot Chart reports; |

create Excel Querytables from QOs, in order to produce plain and effective reports containing answers to whatever complex queries; |

repeatedly and dynamically change the contents of a Pivot Table with more or different data gathered from the same QO. The
Change Query Form allows you to add or remove fields, as well as to change filters on data categories, and then to execute queries which access the QO and update the existing table, without the need to delete and re-create it from scratch; |

preview the numbers of categories in each dimension of the QO before you formulate or change a query, in order to avoid overloading the Excel Pivot Cache with excessive data. This is important since QOs can compress terabytes of information! |

connect to existing QO DSNs, as well as create new ODBC DSNs having the proper QO access options set; |

perform Keyback from Pivot Table cells to original database details. By simply right-clicking the mouse on a Pivot cell reporting a measure, you can immediately obtain an Excel Sheet reporting fine-grain details of the individual clients, products, transactions, or other events that were summarized in that cell. Such kinds of details are
not accessible from PivotTable cells through the ordinary Excel Drill-down/Show Details Pivot commands. |
